To help observe the first Ocean Conservation Month in the Cayman Islands in November, the Regal Camana Bay Stadium 6 cinema will show two popular ocean-themed films for its Kids Club features: “Finding Dory”
In addition, the two films will each be shown twice, meaning that there will be a Kids Club feature on every Saturday morning in November instead of the usual programming of twice a month.
“Finding Dory,” which will be shown on Nov. 4 and Nov. 18, is the critically acclaimed sequel to the 2003 hit, “Finding Nemo.” Ellen DeGeneres returns to voice Dory, a friendly but forgetful blue tang fish who sets out on an underwater quest to find her long-lost parents. Other actors providing voices in the film include Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy and Idris Elba.
The highly successful film “Moana,” which will be featured on Nov. 11 and Nov. 25, is the 2016 Walt Disney Pictures 3D computer-animated musical that grossed more than US$643 million worldwide. It tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian village chief, who answers the ocean’s call to return an ancient relic to a goddess to help end a blight on her island.
Tickets for all Kids Club movies are CI$5 for all ages and are available at the cinema box office. Showtime is 10 a.m.
