Whether you wish to venture out to the dining establishments in the Town Centre, get takeout or have your lunch delivered directly to your door, Camana Bay offers plenty of options to satisfy your hunger.
All four of Market Street Group’s Camana Bay restaurants offer weekday specials. The Brooklyn Pizza + Pasta’s Pronto Lunch includes any six-inch pizza from the menu with a choice of side house salad, Caesar salad or soup of the day; Pani Indian Kitchen offers a three-course lunch menu, which includes a choice of appetiser, main curry dish with basmati rice and butter naan and dessert; Mizu Asian Bistro + Bar offers a choice of appetiser, main dish (like Pad Thai, curry or sushi rolls) and ice cream or crème caramel for dessert; and The Waterfront Urban Diner offers a daily “Soup & Wrap” special.
Lola offers daily specials as well as a sizeable menu that includes a variety of comfort foods and homemade desserts; Abacus also offers daily specials with its farm-to-table inspired Caribbean cuisine and tapas-style offerings. You can dine inside these restaurants or on their spacious patios and take in the bustling lunchtime setting of the Paseo.
Petit Paris, Gelato & Co. and Jessie’s Juice Bar also offer delicious and quick lunch options as well as seating inside and outside. Petit Paris offers savoury puff pastries, freshly baked baguette sandwiches, paninis, wraps, crepes, croissants, croque-monsieurs and more, as well as baked goods like French macarons and madeleines; and prepackaged nougats, bonbons, and biscuits — all imported from France.
Gelato & Co. is known for its mouth-watering Italian ice cream in many flavours, as well as its beautiful desserts, but it also offers the perfect little snack — bubble sandwiches. Based on an old Italian culinary tradition, they are healthy, organic pocket sandwiches made of stone-ground wheat and filled with an assortment of fillings like smoked ham and Asiago cheese, ricotta and spinach, and ragu Bolognese and béchamel.
Jessie’s Juice Bar serves up freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, Kombucha drinks and more, but their lunch options are equally healthful and nutritious and cater to vegetarians, vegans and meat-eaters alike. Grab-and-go options include salads and Buddha bowls, which feature a variety of vegetables and include top-ups like avocado, steamed egg, toasted nuts, smoked salmon and turkey, to name a few. Other popular items include a variety of wraps and grilled-cheese sandwiches on marbled rye sourdough.
Bay Market is a grocery store that offers organic, gourmet food and speciality drinks, including prepared and made-to-order items made daily in-house by their dedicated deli team. Its shaded patio is the perfect place to enjoy your lunch, as is the lush courtyard just around the corner.
The salad, sandwich and hot bars are very popular, as are the grab-and-go lunch offerings, which change a few times a week and range from the healthy to the indulgent. From cut fruit, veggie sticks and hummus to comfort foods like pastas, stews and curries, there is something for everyone.
The store also offers a wide selection of gourmet cheeses, chocolates and chips; and will soon be expanding its vegetarian and vegan offerings in the deli.
