Blackbeard’s popped the cork on a brand-new wine club just in time for the holidays.
Blackbeard’s wine specialists every month reserve specially selected wines complete with tasting notes and food pairing advice. Members receive three new wines each month – two bottles of each type for a total of six bottles every month – a mix of red, white, rosé and sparkling wine.
“We believe that part of the fun of wine is learning about and exploring the many regions from around the world. We also know that it can be difficult to navigate through the vast number of wineries out there,” said Cayman Distributor Group Wine Specialist Charlie Nicholson. “Who makes the best wines from a particular place? How do I get my hands on them? These are questions that we get all the time at Blackbeard’s and one of the reasons that we started our Wine Club.”
Blackbeard's boasts more than 1,000 wines to choose from. Membership tiers range from $125-$250, although there is no fee simply to be a member. There are three tiers, each with a unique focus.
“We take such care choosing each tier’s wines that we are sure you’ll love every bottle,” Nicholson said. “So you can go on with your life, leave the research to us and look forward to enjoying unique, remarkable, trustworthy wines in the comfort of your home.”
Blackbeard’s team of wine experts has a wide range of knowledge and experience, Nicholson said, united by a goal of delivering authentic wines with genuine narratives to a wide-ranging clientele, some of whom may be brand new to wine to those who could be described as connoisseurs.
“We curate unique and exciting wines that we genuinely believe will become your new favourites,” Nicholson said. “Our offerings encompass meticulously selected, rare and exotic choices from around the globe.”
Wines can be delivered for free to your home or office or members can pick them up in store.
