February Events At Camana Bay

01 February 2018

Find love this February at Camana Bay.

Camana Bay Cinema now offers Classics at the Cinema every week, and one of its showings this month fits the Valentine’s theme perfectly: When Harry Met Sally (R) on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Check out Culture at the Cinema’s live screening of Bolshoi Ballet’s version of the greatest love story ever told, Romeo and Juliet, on Feb. 17. Gnomeo & Juliet will also be showing on the Crescent as part of Valentine’s on the Big Screen. Children can get their hands into some arts and crafts before the movie begins and Camana Bay’s restaurants will have food and drinks for the ultimate outdoor dinner and a movie experience.

February is also the month where we bring back some of our most popular events. Legends is back on the Festival Green, where tennis fans can see some of the biggest names in the game play against each other and get the opportunity to meet and greet the players. This year’s lineup includes Jimmy Connors, Pat Cash, Stefan Edberg, junior Wimbledon champion Claire Liu and current US Open champion, Sloane Stephens. Join the experts from Infinite Mindcare at Books & Books for a discussion that will improve anyone’s Valentine’s Day experience, focusing on that Crazy Little Thing Called Love: Mastering Relationships. Or take a friend or a loved one to 3 Girls and a Kiln (or go solo for some quality ‘me’ time!) for their ceramics classes, including a Zentangle Hanging Heart class on Feb. 8. And head to Camana Bay Cinema on Feb. 9, when the anticipated final installment in the Fifty Shades Grey series, Fifty Shades Freed, is released.

To end the month, join Grammy Award-winning country music artist, Patty Griffin, for a fundraising event under the stars at Abacus, including a three-course dinner.
