Looking your best involves much more than beauty treatments. As we start the new year, incorporate some of these healthy practices into your life and create a new you for 2020.
Commit yourself to do one thing that takes you out of your comfort zone this year. This will help build confidence and trust in yourself. The more things you do that force you to go out of your safe zone, the better. Insecurities are loud; confidence is quiet.
Times flies by as we all have busy lifestyles, so make sure to have a plan and schedule your appointments in advance. Your yearly medical, bi-annual dental, bi-monthly or monthly spa and hair services should be pencilled into your planner so that there are fewer things to worry about in everyday life.
Get in shape
You might already have a workout and diet routine, but now might be a good time to step it up a notch. And if you aren’t already working out or dieting, now is a good time to start. Make your fitness and dietary goals realistic and stick to them. You’ll thank yourself later.
Change your hair colour
Nothing says “fresh start” like a change in hair colour. Ombré colours are back and still trending are pastel colours and grey. Go on, make a change!
Change your nail colour
Why stop with your hair colour if you’re looking for a fresh start?
Many different nail colours are in style right now. Step out of your normal box and do something different.
Take care of your skin
Follow an at-home skincare routine to maintain or achieve flawless beautiful skin on your face and body. Are you not sure what do do? Then see a beauty therapist to help plan your at-home skincare regimen.
It’s important physically and mentally to be offline every so often. Forcing yourself to detox from the Internet after work, in the evenings and sometimes over the weekends can be one of the best things you do for yourself in 2020. Take this time to focus on YOU and all the things you can’t seem to find time to fit into your busy life.
