Sun’s out, fun’s out at Camana Bay this summer! Just like the endless days of warm weather, the fun at Camana Bay is year-round and summer is no exception. We’ve created a round-up of summertime happenings at Camana Bay, where there is something for everyone to enjoy. Happy reading, sunshine!

1. Family events abound this summer! Take in a movie under the stars, the perfect way to enjoy quality family time while watching “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” during our Moonlight & Movies summer edition – free of charge. Or if you wish to celebrate Christmas in July you can do that too at 3 Girls & A Kiln, where over two days in July you can participate in their festive Christmas glazing class or a special Christmas-themed wood class, including giveaways and sugar cookies! For more information on these events and more, visit our events calendar.

2. Summer camps will keep children active. Camana Bay hosts two camps in July and they are the perfect way to fill kids’ schedules while teaching them new skills. At the Multi-Sport Camp, kids will be exposed to a variety of sports such as volleyball, basketball, tennis, swimming, football and more. The Basketball Camp is one where campers can bring their A-game while receiving authentic NBA tips from a special guest straight from the NBA! For more information on these camps click here.

3. Decadent yet refreshing ways to treat yourself. Of course there are popular brunch options happening weekly at Camana Bay, but we all know if dessert could be the main course we’d have no complaints. So what better way to spend a summer day then staying cool with sorbets or ice cream from Gelato & Co and Häagen-Dazs or delectable treats from Petit Paris French Bakery? Guaranteed to make your mouth water is Häagen-Dazs’ full menu of frozen treats. Keep your eyes out: we will feature a menu item each week on Camana Bay’s social media platforms for the month of July. If outside is simply just too hot, enjoy summer sweets from the comfort of your home. 4. Although there are plenty of options to play at Camana Bay, fitness gurus will appreciate that during summer their type of fun doesn’t take a break! Fit summers are achievable at Camana Bay and the summer weather helps to keep you motivated to maintain your fitness regimen. Try classes at Anytime Fitness or CrossFit Cayman. Read here for ways they recommend you can incorporate exercise into your daily life. Ryde Cayman offers many spin classes to get your heart rate moving and don’t forget about our Observation Tower which gives you 75 feet of stairs to climb with a breathtaking panoramic view of the island waiting for you at the top. For those wanting a day of sports and fitness exhibits and activities check out Sportista’s Sports and Fitness Expo on 27 July. More information on this event can be found here.
