Spotlight on: PwC

PwC building

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is Camana Bay’s newest commercial tenant. Last December, the firm relocated its Cayman Islands office from George Town to the brand-new LEED Gold-certified building, 18 Forum Lane, and this move introduced Camana Bay’s commercial community to nearly 200 new neighbours.

The firm’s offices take up the entire fourth floor and part of the third floor of the mixed-use building, for a total of 26,000 square feet. The fitout was custom-designed to PwC’s preferences, featuring the company’s brand colours as strong accents throughout, whether it be in paint colours or mosaic tile installations in the office kitchen spaces. The workspace is emboldened with local artwork from such artists as famed underwater photographer Cathy Church and the PwC’s own team member Natalya Ryabukhina.

The office’s meeting spaces are named after local plants, from the 20-seat Banana Orchid boardroom to the Silver Thatch conference room.

18 Forum Lane is home to 85,000 square feet of commercial and retail space and was designed by Lake|Flato, a world leader in modern, sustainable architecture. It offers seamless connectivity to all of the happenings in Camana Bay, and Managing Partner Graeme Sunley shared that the team has already been enjoying the benefits of being based in such a vibrant Town Centre.

“We had an offsite team meeting in the cinema and followed it up with a cocktail and food event at one of the restaurants. I, personally, attended a school assembly as my children attend Cayman International School, and I was able to walk there and then very shortly afterwards be back at my desk at work. That’s not something I am used to being able to do and it really does mean that the experience of working in Camana Bay is very special.”
